OUR TRAINING COURSE PORTFOLIO INCLUDES:

Personal Safety Awareness

Working in conjunction with other courses that we provide, this input focuses on advanced self-defence techniques, together with monitoring your safety on-line. This training input can be delivered via a standard one or advanced three day course. Courses can be delivered in house or at our own training facilities. Each can also work in conjunction with our Hostile Environment Training packages.

Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT)

This course is designed to meet the current needs of businesses, NGO’s and media operators. The courses offered by Eminent have been designed by former members of UK Special Forces and lead by our own management team.

Each course can be conducted at two facilities which are unique to Eminent, located in the South East and Midlands regions of the United Kingdom. We are also able to provide the training in a host of differing environments around the world.  Accommodation is provided for all training inputs.

Effective Investigative Interviewing

This course is for those who wish to learn about effective interviewing and obtaining best results from both witness and suspect interviews. Delegates will improve on any existing interviewing technique they currently have, in order to get the best quality information and evidence from each interaction. It includes learning on listening, questioning techniques as well as a structured approach to any situation where the objective is to get reliable good quality information from someone, in both non adversarial and adversarial settings.

An introduction to the Dark Web

This course is for those who require knowledge on what the Dark Web actually is, and delegates will receive facts that highlight inaccuracies currently in circulation. It includes an understanding of the principles of the Dark Web, what commodities can be bought and sold on it, and critically, what risks are associated with interacting with it. Delegates who wish to protect themselves and also advise others on methods in doing so should attend.

Safety online (short course)

We now conduct so much of our personal and business lives online it is easy to be complacent about safety and security. This course is an introduction to the fundamentals of online security. It includes learning that covers the various devices in common use, and the software that runs them. It also includes sessions on Virtual Private Networks, social engineering, and how to maximise safety when using the most common social media platforms. Delegates who wish to protect themselves and also advise others on methods in doing so should attend.

This course provides a deeper understanding and appreciation of online security.  It includes learning that covers the various devices in common use, and the software that runs them. It also includes sessions on Virtual Private Networks, social engineering, and how to maximise safety when using the most common social media platforms. Also covered in this course are inputs on data interception techniques, physical threats to online security, and countermeasures.

Crisis Management and Kidnap for Ransom (K4R)

Many international businesses operate in places where the risk to employees of being taken hostage has to be factored into Company Crisis Management planning. The aim of this one-day course is to provide live K4R incident guidance to those who already form, or may in the future form, part of a K4R live incident Company Crisis Management Team. The course will equip delegates with the skills to respond to, and effectively resolve such crises on behalf of their companies.  They will refresh any current skills and be reminded of the immediate actions required of them.

Country Evacuation Framework Workshop

Many international businesses trade in places where the operating environment means that the evacuation of staff from a Country has to be factored into Company Crisis Management planning. The aim of this one-day course is to provide guidance to delegates who already form or may in the future form part of a live Country evacuation incident or Company Crisis Management Team. The course will help equip delegates to respond to and effectively resolve such crises on behalf of their companies.

Risk and Security Assessment Programme

Many international companies trade in places where the operating environment means that the risks to staff, company assets and continuity of business has to be factored into Crisis Management planning. The aim of this one-day course is to provide delegates with the necessary skills and techniques to conduct and review their own “in-Country” risk & security assessments. Delegates will finish the course with skills required to help complete this successfully and be able to identify resources that can also assist in the process.

Active Threat Response

This course is for those who may encounter individuals within their workplace who are intent on harming them, their staff, or co-workers (known as an Active Threat). The course includes an understanding of how and why it may happen, what plans to put in place and how to respond to such a situation. The course is directed towards reducing the likelihood of such events, and on minimising the risk to people should one occur.
